Commercial photography is a varied and exciting genre of photography to be involved in, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to talk to Ben North in my latest photographer interview.

Ben is from Southern California, and made the career move from rock-climber to professional photographer, with a keen interest in resort, outdoor, and lifestyle commercial photography.

About Commercial Photographer Ben North

Over the course of the last twelve years Ben has worked as a commercial photographer and cinematographer specializing in hospitality photography and outdoor lifestyle photography.

He’s worked in over twenty states and five different countries, and photographed from boats, planes, helicopters, zip lines, kayaks, motorcycles, a submarine, and one time just dangling from a rope in the middle of a canyon.

Ben is currently based in Southern California, and has photographed for both large and small companies. His client list includes Cholula Hot Sauce, Hilton Hotels, Embassy Suites, Santa Catalina Island Company, Billabong and many others.
