This week, I thought we might try something a little new and different, by hosting a live Twitter Chat with me on the business of family portrait photography.
Are you a portrait photographer who specializes in families, or someone who would like to move into the family portrait niche in your area?

How is business going for you right now? Are you finding it difficult or having a hard time getting the right clients to book your services?
If everything is going great for you, then I’m sure others can benefit from some of your insights, if you would like to share them
Are you looking for some advice on how to make higher sales? Would you like to talk about the sales and marketing of family portraits, especially those related to the higher-end market? Do you have some great tips you could share with others?
If so, then I invite you to mark your calendar and join us for a live Twitter Chat on:
Friday September 30th 2011 from 1pm to 3pm Central time (2-4pm Eastern, 11-1pm Pacific, 7-9pm GMT).
What Is A Twitter Chat And How Does It Work?
A Twitter Chat is simply an organized exchange of tweets on a specific subject, coordinated by one or more users. In this instance, we’re going to use it as a Q&A and discussion on family portraiture.
Here’s what you do:
- Make sure you are following @ZenologueBlog on Twitter
- At the appropriate time, log on to Twitter and start posting your questions and comments.
Please format all your tweets in the following way, in order for them to be seen and answered:
@ZenologueBlog #photobizchat your comment or question
That should give you 112 characters for your question, and you can always follow it on in a second tweet (using the same format) if necessary.
Looking Forward To Tweeing You!
Thanks for reading, and I’m looking forward to “tweeting” you on Friday. If you have any suggestions for specific topics on this or future Twitter Chats, by all means share them in the comments below.
Oh, and please be sure to tell your friends, so that they can join in the fun too!
