I can't agree any more strongly. I also can't stress enough how helpful and encouraging the people in my <a href="http://www.bni.com/" rel="nofollow">BNI</a> chapter have been in building my business. It's one of the few organizations in the world that has built a systematic way for people to learn how to build and grow their personal and professional network, and make it profitable. I owe <a href="http://www.toastmasters.org/" rel="nofollow">Toastmasters</a> my ability to talk to people about my business without "hem"-ing, "haw"-ing and "um"-ing incessantly. Here, again, is a unique organization that has systematized a way for people to learn how to be effective speakers and presenters. I encourage everyone to find ways to participate in these or similar organizations, to further their learning and practicing of these important skills. So very true! I can’t agree any more strongly.
