My wife and I were having a discussion this morning about our photography business and the subject of working with friends and family as clients came up, and how this might affect business policies etc.

I thought it would make an interesting discussion point here, so I thought I’d pose some questions to get things started:

How do you feel about having friends and family as clients of your own business?

What happens if something goes wrong? For example, if the “clients” don’t like their photographs?

Are your business policies affected?

What kind of discount should family and friends get and how does it affect the way they see your business?
