		<description>Well I think of it in simple terms...are people really competing for your time, or are they just competing for something to gain??? (attention, money, etc).

Try dating in your early 30&#039;s and watch women CONSTANTLY check their phones, and if they get a text message:  Oh! GOTTA check it, can&#039;t wait til later, or even be discrete!  It&#039;s like every text, phone call, or interruption is something of presidential and life changing matters that MUST be addressed instantly.

I say that you train your friends.  Even if you do have time, just don&#039;t answer the emails, phone, etc at every call.  Eventually they will get it.  That you&#039;re focused, and it better be important if they are going to interrupt you!  Imagine if Beethoven had a cell phone when he was attempting to compose his memorable works?  Heh.  I doubt much would have been left that was considered memorable...maybe he wouldn&#039;t hear it ringing in retrospect.
